The Cutera Xeo is the first clinically effective 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser for treating leg vascular conditions. With truly independent control of pulse width, spot size and power, the Cutera system can target a wider range of vessels than other systems, including competitive 1064 nm wavelengths. Cutera utilizes a gold plated copper cooling handpiece to provide patient comfort througout the treatment.

What type of Veins can be treated?
The Cutera XEO can remove unsightly veins from all parts of the body. Small, facial veins (or “telangiectasia”) can be treated quickly without bruising or complication. Spider veins and large blue leg veins can also be treated with excellent results. Knotty varicose veins are not good candidates. A careful evaluation with your physician will help you determine which vessels can be treated and the best course of treatment.
How Many Treatments Should I Expect?
The number of treatments depends on the size and pressure of the veins, most patients see a significant improvement after one treatment. The number of treatments depend on the the color and size of the blood vessel. Most patients see a significant improvment at the end of the visit and continue to see improvment over the next 4-6 weeks.
What Are the Post Treatment Side Effects?
Although laser treatments are safe, there are some risks associated with laser treatments. After the treatment some redness and bruising may occur, sometimes after large vein treatment a brownish pigment may be noticable for up to a few months after treatment. Rarely blisters, hyper/hypopigementation, discomfort, scars may occur. If any of these side effects occur after treatment, please call the office and let us know as soon as possible.
How Much is the Inital Consutation?

Treatments prices are based time needed to remove the veins. Generally costs $75 for 10 minutes, most treatments take between 10-30 minutes. (most spider veins usually take 10-15min)
Treatments can feel like a rubber band snap, a topical numbing cream can be applied to minimize discomfort.
