Tattoo Removal
It is now possible to safely and effectively remove tattoos without scars. It is estimated that 50% of tattoos are later regretted, maybe it was an old love, the tattoo has faded, or it is something you've outgrown or something you never liked. Medlite C6 and Palomar Q-Yag laser has the ability to remove tattoos in 6-8 treatments without scars. Treatments are scheduled every 6-8 weeks.
How Many Treatments Does It Take?
Most tattoos respond well to laser treatmetent. Black and blue colors respond the best. In general the lighter the color the more treatments necessary to remove/fade the tattoo. Many factors affect the response such as colors, age, skin type...... Consultations are free and can give the patient a better idea of the type of respose from laser treatment.
Removing a tattoo can feel much like it did getting the tattoo, especially the first visit. It can feel like a rubberband snap or hot sensation. The discomfort lessens as treatment progresses as the ink fades.
How Many Treatments Does It Take?
It takes an average of 6-8 treatments. The number of treatments depends on the age of the tattoo, the types of ink, how much ink was used and the colors used on the tattoo.
Treatments start at $75, depending on the size of the tattoo and the colors. Consultations are free and estimations of costs can be provided then. If there is time in the schedule, then treatments and consultations can be done in the same day.
